*****************************************************************

     2. COMPATIBILITY

*****************************************************************

This Plugin is as clean as it could be. Only two original Cells
are modified (Exterior cells of the village). Everything with
non-Generic content/use is a new object. No Dialogue deleted or
changed, just new topics/infos. The Main-Script and any other
original Scripts remain unchanged.

A new concept of placing quest objects by script/dialogue allows
quests to take place in existing cells like Ebonheart, without
making any changes to the cell itself.

This plugin should be compatible with any other plugin
that doesn't modify the Landscape in the Cells -1,-9
(east of Seyda neen) and -1,-10 (southeast of Seyda neen)
And doesn't place objects where the Village of Haldenshore
and the bridge leading to it are placed.

Also in one of the quests a ship is placed at the southeast
docks between Ebonheart and Vivec (23241, -103675)
The downgraded Non-Tribunal Version (see below) places the ship
later in the northeastern corner of Cell -4,-14 (-27392, -110035).

Finally there's a new chest in the Mournhold Armory.
Catia Sosia will sell parying bracers now.

Haldenshore was tested and found compatible with the Plugins
"CHILDREN OF THE NIGHT", "TRAVELING MERCHANTS" "SIEGE AT FIREMOTH"
and "NEWTSCALE HARDENING", which take place and make changes in
the Cell -1,-9. It's also compatible with "THE PRISON SHIP ESCAPE"
and "CAPTAIN GUAR-SKIN'S CREW" which place Ships at the docks
between Ebonheart and Vivec.

There might be errors when loading an old savegame that was created
before installing this plugin. This happens, when the Player is in
one of the exterior Cells around Seyda Neen, especially when other
plugins that modify this area are active. If you don't want to
start a new game, load a Savegame where the player is in another
Cell like Balmora.

*****************************************************************

     3. INSTALLATION

*****************************************************************

As usual, extract the packet with paths and copy everything
to your "Data files" folder. Haldenshore includes models and
textures used by other mods (e.g. Neumans Black Leather, CON2).
So you might be asked if you want to overwrite them. It doesn't
matter whether you keep the "old" files or choose to overwrite
them, they're the same.

*****************************************************************

     4. Notes

*****************************************************************

-Warning:
This plugin is about thieves, not insane murderers.
Most of the NPCs have scripts running or are affected by other
scripts. If a NPC attacks you, you may kill him. But don't attack
other NPCs just for fun. There might be script errors when the
corpse vanishes, and the game tries to move the NPC. Some quests
were tested playing as murderer, but most of them not, and you
won't like what happens in the quests that support murder...

-Gameplay changes:
The Guild Rank Table for the Thieves Guild is modified by this
plugin. Each original Guild Job gives you 5 Points in Faction
Reputation, Rank raise was set at 5,10,20,30,45,60,80,100,125
(1,2,4,6,9,12,16,20,25 Jobs done.) There are 15 new Guild jobs
in this Plugin, and each gives you 2 Points in Faction Rep.
(If you don't botch it...) So I changed the Table to
 6,12,24,36,54,72,96,120,150 Points of Guild Reputation.

-Playing this plugin:
You should play Haldenshore as part of Morrowind. You will get
only 2 Thief Quests per day. Use the rest of the day to train
your thieving skills. You will need them in later quests, but
there won't be enough time to train them.

-Parrying Bracers:

When you equip one of those bracers, an equiped item named
"Parrying Bracer" with a blank icon shows up in your inventory.
This is a weightless, invisible fake shield to enable blocking.
You can't unequip this item (thanks to the "Equip" Function that
finally works with Tribunal) and you can't equip another shield.
As soon as you unequip the Bracer, the fake shield will vanish.

The Fake-Shield has no AC, but a very high health of 1000. It will
be repaired everytime you unequip and reequip the bracer. If the
shield's health goes down to 0, the 'Item is broken' message will
be repeated... Just unequip the bracer to end this.

 ----------------------------------------------------------------
WARNING: DON'T SELL THE INVISIBLE FAKE SHIELD!

When you reequip the bracer, you'll get a second shield, when
you now buy the shield back, the game will slow down, trying to
auto-equip both shields at the same time, until you leave the
Barter-Menu. There were much worser effects while making the
plugin, but the shield's script should prevent them now.
(Should... just don't sell the fake shield OK?)
 ----------------------------------------------------------------

All bracers, even the ebony one, are Light Armor (thats why they
are so expensive: masterfully crafted from heavy materials...),
because I think this is a thiefs equipment... If you don't like
 this, change it.

Catia Sosia in Mournhold will sell the parrying bracers only to
players with certain level. The last one is Adamantium, and you
will get it when you're level 10.

Horgoth in Haldenshore won't sell the Adamantium Bracer.
His last bracer is Ebony. (And he counts gamedays, not levels.)

     5. VERSION

*****************************************************************

V 1.2: (11.12.03)
        Anniversary Update:

        - Haldenshore now requires Tribunal (Updated to v1.6)

        - This Version is no longer compatible to plain Morrowind.

        - Compatible to my other mod "Havish" (Blackjack gambling)

        - Parying Bracers plugin included into Haldenshore.ESP

        - Included Models from "Neuman's Black Leather"

------------------

V 1.1a: (19.01.03)
A Fix and a bit of Cleaning:

-If the player didn't help with the bar brawl, Vordrun
didn't realize that the brawl is over when the guys leave
the tavern and would never talk to the player.

-fixed another "optical issue" (spoon merged with plate)

-Cell -1,-11 Removed from ESP (TESCS acts silly sometimes)

------------------

V 1.1: (16.12.02)
        Some fixes:

-Fixed a scripting problem if the player rests every night
in the cavern pub, before the dancer is on stage and the
rest of the crowd moved in. At some point the game might
have crashed with a script error, if you stayed in the pub
every day-change. (i.e. waiting in the pub for new quests)

-Fixed a issue, when the player read the notes in someone
particular's house, before he was sent to look for her.
(He didn't get the right Dialogue-Topic...)

-Scripting for the Seabound Tavern brawl didn't work as
intended when Tribunal was installed. (With Tribunal,
a NPC that fights an other NPC via "Startcombat" becomes
peaceful when he is knocked out and is no longer attacked.)

-Added a Pathgrid to Haldenshore's exterior. The Guards
are now moving around more than before, and they don't
         end in the water anymore.

-Some NPCs didn't react if you stole their items, some
items simply had no owner, and some NPCs didn't care...

-Locked the trapdoor to Terinos' cellar

-Fixed some "optical Issues" (like a "flying" cup).

-This readme desperately needed a better description
         how to use Haldenshore_No_NBL.esp...

------------------

V 1.0: (18.11.02)
        The first try...
